This six-week online course is part of a three part series on Life Skills. This series is designed to help educators integrate life skills into their teaching strategies and methods. The instruction and activities will provide educators with techniques, activities and resources that will enable them to infuse life skills into any content or lesson plan. Skills for Life focuses on Skills that center around self care and personal responsibility. Becoming a centered and responsible individual begins with self care and perception of those things around us. Skill sets in this course are focused on those that help educators guide students to better self awareness and self-care. While the course is directed at helping educators infuse this knowledge into their teaching, it is also the objective of the developer to enhance those skills in the participant as well, thus creating a win-win for all.

Each week is structured to provide participants with meaningful content, self enhancing exercises and assignments that are meant to challenge and inspire while leaving participants with resources they can use immediately in the classroom. When teachable moments arise, participants of this course will have ready access to tools that they can quickly access to make the most of a life learning situation.
